Day 19





Breakfast Day 19: Toast from homemade whole wheat bread with assorted local jams

Lunch Day 19: BBQ spare ribs, Potatoes & onions, fresh green beans & snap peas &
bread

This was the very first time I have ever made ribs- I thought it would be a nice surprise for my husband over the weekend while we were home working on a big landscaping project. I asked around and looked on the internet about how to cook ribs. After some research, I boiled them in seasoned water for about an hour, seasoned them, baked at 350 for 25 minutes, slathered them in a chipotle BBQ sauce and cooked another 5-10 minutes. It was a lot easier then I was expecting and a lot better tasting. It was a darn good lunch! We had friends over for lunch before heading out to play some golf. Nate & Beth couldn’t believe that all this food was local and the majority of it was purchased at the Farmers’ Market.

Dinner Day 19: Popcorn –It is too hot to cook!
